What's your NHL Mock Draft?
There's a creator for it, found here: docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B-P54M263S15NjA5OTAyNjMtN2Y1NC00YzI4LWJhZDUtZTVkMzZiNjMxODlk&sort=name&layout=list&num=50
1) EDM - Adam Larsson

5) NYI - Gabriel Landeskog
6) OTT - Ryan Strome
7) WPG - Sean Couterier
8) CBJ - Ryan Murphy
9) BOS - Nathan Beaulieu
10) MIN - Mika Zibanejad
11) COL - Duncan Siemens
12) CAR - Jonas Brodin
13) CGY - Sven Baertschi
14) DAL - Joel Armia
15) NYR - Brandon Saad
16) BUF - Jamieson Oleksiak
17) MTL - Zack Phillips
18) CHI - Mark McNeill
19) EDM - Matt Puempel
20) PHX - Mark Scheifele
21) OTT - Nicklas Jensen
22) ANA - Ty Rattie
23) PIT - Vladislav Namestnikov
24) DET - Tyler Biggs
25) TOR - Boone Jenner (awesome name; not as cool as Steele Boomer)
26) WSH - Oscar Klefbom
27) TB - Tomas Jurco
28) SJ - Scott Mayfield
29) VAN - Joseph Morrow
30) TOR - Rocco Grimaldi
Explanation behind some of mine:
1) Larsson - EDM: Oilers have enough young scorers, their blueline needs help.
4) Hamilton - NJ: Devils blueline is rather veteran, and the rest of the guys, like Tallinder are just flat-out horrible.
6) Strome - OTT: One of many league geography-based picks. Strome played in the OHL and is a pretty good scoring center.
7) With the seventh overall pick in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, the Winnipeg _____s select, from Drummondville of the Quebec League, Sean Couterier!
9) Beaulieu - BOS: Good scoring defenseman who could mature and take Kaberle's spot.
11) Siemens - COL: Avs blueline needs some improvement, and Siemens can fit that bill.
16) Oleksiak - BUF: (Who the Go Jets Go names their kid Jamieson?) Sabres need a little blue line help, Oleksiak could be solid. Big (6'7", 244) man could erase the Sabres' reputation of being a "small" team.
17) Phillips - MTL: BIG reach here. Phillips is a solid scorer (95P in 67GP) in the Quebec League, could blossom into a ~90-100 point threat with the right development.
19) Puempel - EDM: Had a solid year in Peterborough on a bad Petes team; with the potential the Oilers have, could grow into something special.
24) Biggs - DET: The 112 PIMs and 28 Points (in 48 games) make me think of a power forward that could protect the Wings' stars when needed.
26) Klefbom - WSH: Caps D needs improvement, and Klefbom is a solid defensive d-man who was slowed last year by injuries, playing only 23 games for Farjestad Jr.
27) Jurco - TB: Solid scorer who could eventually replace either Lecavalier or St. Louis (when they retire, of course)
