My girlfriend woke me up this morning with a Jets car flag on top of me! I was so pumped! Been repping it with my bomber flag on the opposite side ever since! You got a winner there  |

shite on that - someone stole the bomber flag off the flagpole on my car outside my house last week.... That was a problem in Calgary and Edmonton, especially when they made their runs to the Cup. Car flag theft. It was a big problem in 2004, when nearly 1 in 5 cars in the city had them. Look at the bright side, though. It could have been a lot worse if you had parked your car in Regina  When u get out of your car just take them down and put them in the trunk . Very simple. |

Last winter, drove to Edmonton for the weekend with the boys. Had a Flames bumper sticker on my car, go into West Ed Mall, 4 hours later, windows smashed in, bumper sticker gone and "FLAMES SUCK" written in sharpie on the hood of my car.  Stay classy edmonton. The rivalry between Edmonton and Calgary is really something to behold. Although it seems in recent years Edmonton hates Calgary more than vice versa. My boss in Calgary had the company vans painted with his address in Chestermere on them, rather than the comany address in the NE of Calgary. He was too afraid that when we did business in Edmonton, some idiots would slash the tires of the vans, if we had done installation work there. Its crazy. When I lived in Edmonton from July-December 2010 I was challenged to about 8 fights just for wearing a flames t-shirt. All in one night, at a boston pizza. But Calgary and Edmonton were playing each other on HNIC, so I wasn't surprised. But seriously, they hate Calgarians. I told them I was from Saskatoon and they still wanted to fight me!  |

Everyone will have Jets car flags. They are huge in Alberta. The only problem is if you are a Flames or Canucks fan, and drive to Edmonton, you risk having your car vandalized! Haha, oh lord. Reminds me of an old friend of mine who was a die-hard Flames fan.. When he lived Edmonton he worked at an Esso pumping gas, and whenever a car with an Oilers bumper sticker pulled in, he would make sure he placed a Flames sticker over top of it. That guy probably caused hundreds of vandalisms! |

saw 4 of them on the roads today!...sharp looking flags too, way better than any other ones out there. the blue is so deep, the old logo so sharp!
