The funny thing is, none of the current ones are near as bad as some of the 90's to early 00's experiments.
NY Islanders fisherman logo, Burger King man for LA, Anaheim's duck breaking through, the St. Louis catastrophe (which I don't think happened)....go back a bit further, theres more.
Teams get ripped on for uniforms now, but wow, the NHL has had some just terrible ones in the past.

Easy there, that's a classic. Wild is weak. The Lightning were bad, but they redid their logo for next season and it's a might bit better. Coyotes actually have a very clean, crisp look to their unis. I like them a lot. I hate the Panthers, but I give them credit for more or less sticking with that pouncing cat logo. Nashville's logo is too busy. But to me by far the worse unis in the league are the Canucks and their orca logo with Vancouver sprawled on the top. If they got rid of that monstrosity and replaced it with the new stick-in-rink logo (aka their alts) their unis would immediately go up to the top five. But hey, this is Vancouver, home of the Halloween "V" jerseys, bad colors and general uniform catastrophe - so I'm not holding out much hope. |

Atlanta used to. Those Harry Potter third jerseys and hideous home jerseys with the disgusting dark blue shoulder.
Honorable mentions: CAR, ANA (thirds), NSH, PHX (thirds), CGY, PHI (awful white sleeve stripes), MIN (home x-mas jerseys)

The Wild logo is great. Very clever, not just a picture of an animal (ahem Moose), but a lot going on, very subtly. And I don't mind the "Christmas colours", at least they're unique. Don't like the name much though, since I don't like names without Ss.
I don't like the current Sens jersey or logo. And the Oilers current (non-retro) jerseys are pretty bad too.

I for one love the Wild name and jerseys. I also really hate the Penguins ugly jerseys the most, by far. It's not even yellow anymore, it's like a... beige almost.

carolina's jerseys with all the piping really stink, and the only thing stinkier are their 3rd jerseys. really horrible.

Well ... the Red Wings is looking pretty stale, personally. Doesn't look bad though.
The ugliest jersey goes to either the Islanders or Phoenix.

First off, any team whose jersey follows the RBK Edge striping has a crappy jersey. Also, I HATE the third jersey. Most are crap and the entire concept is cheesy. Don't get me started on the Blue Bombers horrific gold jersey. It's embarrassing.
Most of the teams are really average and unremarkable for me. The worst:
Florida Panthers have the ugliest color scheme. Ditch the yellow. So Kansas City Scouts. The name and logo, not so bad, but not exactly great.
Minnesota Wild are pretty horrible. The green and white jersey itself is not bad, but the brand, logo and Christmas color scheme are horrible in general. I cannot believe they voted it in.
San Jose's teal has not aged well.
Vancouver is bizarre. The stick in rink logo is not bad. The Orca is horrific, the color scheme is okay, but I really dug the 1994 jersey. The black, red and orange was great. The blue and green feels wrong.
I like the Original Six teams, the Islanders, Devils, Flyers, Coyotes and Blue Jackets. I actually love the Columbus Blue Jackets branding. The Civil War theme is excellent. I like their third jersey logo, the cannon. They should ditch the Ohio flag logo on the main jersey in favor of that one. Red, white and blue scheme. Blue jerseys with red pants. Hmmm. Where have I saw that before.

the logo for the blue jackets is butt fackin ugly. you would think they could have come up with something better than that considering the civil war theme.

The Islanders jersey and logo are CLASSIC! You know not what you say! Hands down, worst jerseys in the league are Minnesota's home red and green. It's the Christmas Wild! The are absolutely horrible, total eye sore. |

first of all all uniforms are now pretty hideous in that rbk redesigned them in to the edge cut. i preferred the old ccm 6100 cuts. but the nashville predators have got to have the worst jerseys. their third jersey is ok but the home and away ones are hideous. anaheim is a close second, i miss their old mighty duck colours. im a flames fan, but im not a fan of that nasty firemans red they wear, but the white jersey and retro one are pretty good (minus the flags on the shoulders). minnesota imo has pretty nasty christmas coloured uniforms. im not a fan of the senators jerseys either, esp since they redesigned the logo, the old one was pretty cool tho. ottawa's 3rd jersey has to be the worst alternate jersey in the league (ill put anaheim and carolina in that category as well). i never liked the thrashers jerseys either but the blue one is ok. that team is obv now defunct so i guess they dont count. lets just hope TN doesnt do a Go Jets Go job on their jerseys/logo/name.
