Wow! Another game where the Canucks are playing terrible. Mostly Luuuuuuuongo though, 13 shots and 3 goals. Great deal that was to sign him for 12 years eh? Most over rated player in the NHL.

How long since a Canadian team won the Cup? Maybe Winnipeg will break that streak!

How long since a Canadian team won the Cup? Maybe Winnipeg will break that streak! 18 years! Funny i was saying to someone today that wouldnt it be ironic if it was Winnipeg that ended Canadas cup drought. Over the past decade we have had Edm, Cal, Ott and soon to be Van. The leafs we know wont be there soon that only leaves the Habs who funny enough are the last Canadian team to win!

Luongo has almost always chokec in big games, only time he's won a big game is the olympics and he almost lost it.

i said before the series started. in order for Vancouver to win this, luongo needed to play better. he is very overrated and i would start schneider in game 5. cory looked way more at ease in that 3rd period than luongo has in this entire series. i hate luongo though.

I would agree with folks who say that Lu has been good at home (save for Game 5 vs Chicago) so I don't mind him starting Game 5. But I firmly believe Vigneault should start Corey Schneider on Game 6! He's a Boston-area native anyway and probably knows how to deal with the crowds there so I'm sure he'll be much less rattled playing there! Regarding the p--- poor performance of the Nucks, I myself would blame the defense (perhaps even more) because they're not doing their job properly by leaving Lu to hang. In fact many of the goals Boston scored were (from what I could see) due to sloppy defense. C'mon you know your goalie is rattled so why not help him? Perhaps they need to analyze how Boston organizes the coordination between Tim Thomas and his defense squad a bit more and take a page or two from them! GRRRRR! C'mon Nucks, SALVAGE the Cup Run and win two more games!

It's not just Lou. Van barely squaeked past Boston in the first two games, with a game winner 20 seconds left in Game 1 in a 1-0 goalie showdown (even I'll admit Lou was great in that one) followed by an early OT winner in game 2, then two complete stompings in games 3 and 4. Despite a slightly slow start, Boston has clearly been the better team this sries, not just betwen the pipes, but all around. After 240 minutes played, Van has only lead for 17 of them. So that's 223 minutes in this series where they've either bee looking to grab a badly needed goal or been trailing behind the Bruins. As a comparison, Boston has been in the lead for 106 minutes.

You guys are fools committing hockey blasphemy if you're rooting for the (B)ruins - except of course if you are from MA or are living there! Why? Cuz its owned by Jeremy Jacobs - one of the basturds who helped masterminded you guys getting screwed of the Jets in the first place and helping start this blasphemy we call "Sunbelt hockey"!
Fact is, a Stanley Cup WIN by the Nucks is a SECOND BLOW against Buttman, Jacobs and anybody who has supported the blasphemous Sunbelt expansion (which came at the expense of the original team)! I hope and pray the Hockey Gods have some justice and not let this horrific crime go unpunished!

And Vancouver riots once again! I do admit to have an odd fascination with riots though and I was quite sure it would happen either way regarding results!

The Nhl is the only pro sport that changes or doesn't enforce the rules to the letter when it goes into the playoffs. As the games go further to the fianal it not always the best skilled team that wins but it is a battle to the brawn. You can't tell me in this last series there was no obstruction, holding, mauling specially in that last game..In football, basketball, soccer if there was a penalty the refs call it no matter what time in the game or game series. I guess that is what makes NHL hockey so unique..I enjoyed the games but I do love to watch the skilled players do their thing no matter what team that may be....

Vancouver was the more skilled team, but the Refs let everything go and the Bruins' physicality and and toughness prevailed as they outworked the Canucks. They wanted it more...
Sucked that they were missing Hamhuis, Samuelsson, Raymond and Rome... Could have been a different outcome (but of course injuries are not a valid excuse)

Could have been a different outcome (but of course injuries are not a valid excuse) The Canucks may have been the more skilled team, but the Bruins played with more heart than the Canucks, despite the Bruins being penalized more. No matter who was playing, it came down to goaltending. Thomas played excellent. Luongo blew it.

Simple, the Canucks had too many Europeans, the Bruins were North American, that wins you cups. Proven stat. Only once in history has a team won the cup that didn't have majority of Canadians on the roster. Trade the Sedins, get some tougher D and try and move Luongo and his 10 year over priced contract
