HAHA Ive started something One thing I can say is that Dianna's Gourmet Pizza on St Annes is the most over rated pizza on earth. For whatever reason the place has won tons of awards but I really dont know why. Its good dont get me wrong but its not as amazing as you would think. PLus its over priced, two small pieces costed 6 bucks. Not to mention the staff is stuck up, I asked for a slice and got a lecture about how they dont call it a slice. Agreed....Diana's is OK. In fact, I'd say it's pretty good.... but does not match the hype. I'm a big Gondola guy, but picky on location. The one in my delivery area is brutal, so I order and pick-up from the one on St.Mary's just north of Ste. Anne's. I'm with you on the Gondola and yes, location is key. Best in town is St. Vital south then St. Vital north then Pembina Hwy at McGillvary. And it has to be original thin crust. Otherwise Santa Lucia if you like a heavier pizza.

Gondola used to be THE pizza in this town. Thin crust all the way. It's not the same anymore though. And the crust is so thin, I could eat three pizzas.
Pizza Hut seems to have changed their sauce or something as they dont taste as good either. I always liked Pizza Hut for the thick greasy mess.

Lisis Ranch House on Main st.! Not overly priced but it's the best pizza in the city ive tried no doubt. The owners also used to own a pizza place called ciocaharas (I think thats how you spell it lol) if your more familiar with that name.

Try Santa Ana on the corner of St. Mary's road and Novavista. Awesome wood fired pizzas that are reasonably priced. They also sell their wine at next to no markup. Great place!

It's long gone, but Go Jets Go's pizza on St.Annes road had the best pizza I've ever had. Go Jets Go Rivers used to own it. Haha! His name has been censored!

Jumbo on Balmoral by far. I like the pizza at the original Cafe 22/Pizza Hotline on Corydon. Eat in only. Get the Chicago-Style or thin crust. Ask them to put the pepperoni on top of the cheese. Sorrento's on McPhillips is quite good, as is Presto and Pizzaland, both on Main. Diana's is okay, but not at those prices. Agostino's on Ness can be good, but I've noticed some inconsistencies in quality. North of town, the Rivercrest hotel does a nice all-meat pizza.
But the best by a long shot is Jumbo. The sauce is nice and tangy, the toppings are plentiful, the crust is perfect and the price is fairly reasonable. I like to get Ham, pepperoni, tomatoes, banana peppers and garlic. It's divine.

what ever happened to Shakey's Pizza ?.....the older people here may remember it. it was on Pembina Hwy. that was good stuff. and yes Calabria pizza is excellent. they used to have a store in island lakes, guess they moved it to scurfield. Monticchio pizza on Osbourne is also a really good pie too. but i do like my Domino's Brooklyn pizza. dont really know why that is, but it goes great with beer. Pizza Hotline is garbage. their pizza's always taste like the box they are packed in.

Calibria Market....hope I spelled that right......is unreal....tried most above on here but this za is great x2 The Calabria special with the Italian meats and artichoke hearts is the best in the city The best Mexican pizza is Tony's on Pembina Calabria has great pizza. It gets pricey though. and to the Pizza Hotline comments. I can't order there anymore, I'm tired of getting pizzas with half the cheese missing... I just had enough of it there.

Shakey's was the bomb. Lots of memories from my childhood of the family going there. Great place.
I also agree with Potenza's at Grand Beach. FANTASTIC pizza and quite honestly, a great price. They could charge a lot more considering it's the best food at the beach. The owner is a d!ck but he owns half of Grand Beach now so what are you gonna do...

There was a Shakey's on Portage in St. James that turned into a similar place called Merk's and is now Boston Pizza.
