Just showed the draft order on TSN with WPG at number 7. Gave me shivers ;D

Same here. It hasn't fully sunk in yet, but seeing Winnipeg listed in the NHL draft selection order is a good start.

And Button saying "Winnipeg needs a center". We do? Why yes, we do! Haven't even seen them live yet, and we know, we need a center.
I know the combine doesn't give the whole story, but 2 bench press for Huberdeau? He isnt on a workout schedule? Larsson's numbers sucked too but he's recovering from shoulder injury apparently. Landeskog #'s were off the charts. No way he slips to #7, can he?

I don't think there is any way Landeskog gets to 7. He won't get by Ottawa.
The more I think about it, and with the way he played in the U18's, if the first 6 players are RNH, Larsson, Huberdeau, Coutourier, Landeskog, and then Strome, I wouldn't have a problem picking Zibanejed.
Zibanejed has been rocketing up the charts and already has played a year in the SEL. One more year in the SEL and he could be ready for the show.

Zibanejed fills that 3rd line center role. His offense upside doesn't seem to be that high.
Still hoping a Couturier drops to 7. Would have to move up to 3 or 4 to get Landeskog.
