This news is almost like a sigh of relief for me, mixed with a bit of sadness. Seeing Darren say "closing words" really made it click, this place is done. Hopefully it's archived because down the road it'd be nice to see it again.
Plus my Sharks lost on a terrible bounce tonight, what a bad way to lose.

Yeah I don't think the 100% meter has totally clicked in for me yet. Still in some sort of weird shock. And yes, it's a shame such a weird bounce had to end such a good game. Good luck to the Sharks next year!

You could play CDs on your computer back in 1996!! I dunno if you could burn them though. Back in 1996 a 4X CD burner cost approx. $350 ..... Can't remember what a blank CD cost... My company had a 1x burner they spent $10,000 on in 95. We used to charge clients $20 for a cd but I can't remember what we paid forf them ourselved.

Congratulations to Rob Ford for your passion in keeping the return of the NHL to Winnipeg alive through cyberspace via the the creation of this websight. Congratulations indeed! I really though this place was going to go downhill after Mr. Ford was elected Mayor of Toronto, but he managed to keep this going on the side. Most impressive.

I've only been visiting this site since February 2011. If I had a nickel for everytime I've logged on here I'd have enough $$ for 3 years worth of ST To my fellow ROTJ faithful. THEY'RE BACK BABY..... THEY'RE BACK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I celebrated on Thursday after the Brunt article...didn't we already know this was a done deal?.... Chipman and/or Thomson for Prime Minister!....well done guys...we owe you and as payback we will strongly support the team no matter the name....once again Winnipeggers are in TNSE's debt and here i thought you were just cautiously optomistic? you are really a crazy guy! i was when i joined back in march 2010 but you are right...time to change the name to happyguy...how do i do that?

glad to read that cautiously optimistic!! it's been some kind of ride...we all followed it in our own ways...but, in the long run, we all got the result we dreamed of... how about changing the name to "thoroughly excited!!"

I'm nervous, I don't think it'll happen. Someone hold me....
HAHAHAHAHA, seriously the last few months some of you guys who got all twitchy everytime some little hiccup came along were GREAT for entertainment value I'm gonna miss you guys. Just don't start with bellyaching about the season tickets, okay I know the same guys will just try and be amusing about it okay??
But seriously will someone hold me?
