Maybe the time has come to retweet that one. It sounds like a gem. It was at 4-Play. After a nice night of watching the UFC, I went to pose for the porcelain gods only to find them covered in blood. I tell ya.. MMA + Beer = blood everywhere

That's what happens when a madman runs the league. He isn't a madman. Made some mistakes yes every business has ups and downs, tries things that don't work and have segments of their business that are very profitable and some that lose money. It's a private business and we will never understand why some things are done one way or another. There are 30 teams and ownerships groups in the league all with several different challenges. At the end of the day he will in fact go against the grain and relocate the next available team to Winnipeg, most people in the USA think we don't have the corporate support required in this city. Bettman won't make this move out of desperation, he will do it because he knows it will work. I have to say... I lean more towards madman myself!

From what we have all witnessed, it is never too late to save a sunbelt team. The situation in Atlanta draws few comparison other than the fact they are located in southern US and established in the late 90's. If we had the same poltical will or "insanity" in the Winnipeg Jets era this could have dragged on for many more years. Having a municipal government willing to invest 100's of millions in a NHL franchise is very unique. The Atlanta Thrashers are somewhat unique too, not every owner in the league owns the arena and a second anchor tenant. All that said - still losing 20 million a year on hockey operations. Unheard of really. No need to throw Bettman under the bus, it's a complicated business - mistakes get made but at the end of the day it is how you fix them. The only people that need to be run over by the damn bus is the ASG for running the Thrashers into the ground. This ain't Bettmans fault. As for the comments on why the NHL won't jump in and help ATL like they did PHX.....the local gov't is not involved - nor should they be. This is strictly an ASG sell of one of their assets (hard to call it an asset when it's bleeding to death, eh?) to anyone that will step up and buy it.

TN employee's have been told that there will be NO HOLIDAYS given in the months of August and September via email. Email was sent 4 weeks ago. I've seen the email with my own eyes.

I think the "no holidays in August/September" is standard practice.
Alas... I shall tweet this to the world.

Not true. Debunked. Also.. that's the last time I tweet anything. I have 150 followers.. how could I have known it was going to explode? I've tweeted much juicier things that never saw the light of day... like a picture of a urinal at a drinking establishment. I don't know how one comment from the Thrasher's web guy means it's thoroughly debunked. Maybe the time has come to retweet that one. It sounds like a gem. A call to action....now?? Where the hell have the fans been the past many years!!?? Its too LATE now! From what we have all witnessed, it is never too late to save a sunbelt team. nobody saved the flames in atlanta, so why would the thrashers be saved? 0-2 in atlanta is pretty telling
