Hello,
I am part of a 4 person group that will be buying NHL season tickets when they go on sale. It looks like we will either go with 200 or 300 level tickets. But since this is such a long term decision we are also looking beyond just the seat location and analyzing other things like the concourse amenities, space, washroom line ups, etc...
I have only been to one concert where we had 300 tickets and the concourse seemed spacious enough, beer line ups were acceptable but the washroom line up was huge. Maybe the beer consumption at a hockey game won't match that of a Metallic concert though. ;D
Anyone have an opinion on the which of the two concourses would be better for a sold out hockey game? Anyone have actual facts on the size vs. # patrons, washrooms per patron and beer taps per patron?
At the moment I am leaning towards seats with access to the main concourse as it will make it easier to meet up with other friends. There is also one guy in our group that smokes, he believes it will be easier to get outside during intermission from the main concourse. Probably true eh?
T.

Personally I like 200 (217 to be exact) section, by the stairs, you can hop over walk to the stairs, right to the beer, and the washrooms. I forget the seat numbers exactly, we sat there for Motley Crue. For Kenny Chesney we will be first row of the 200 level and its prime, leg room holders and no prob going to the washroom or beer run. Hope that helps. This area is over the benches.

Thanks. I met with my partnership last night and we agreed 200 is the way to go. Just hope we can them! I expect demand will outstrip supply.

Given that many Moose games are lower-bowl sellouts, you can get a pretty good idea of what it will be like for NHL games right now. The lower bowl is pretty congested, but the amenities are good, it's easy to meet up with people and it is definitely easy for smokers to get outside.
The upper deck was pretty threadbare last time I was up there, but I hear they've been working on it some and adding more amenities?
