Lost jobs? What about the strange notion that they could maybe find a different tenant that people actually want to pay to watch, and then they could create MORE jobs...

what kind of job works 3-4 hours per day for 40-45 days a year I am not sure putting down people who work in food service is the direction this post needs to go. Yes, people work in food service and they may work at 3 or 4 different places. You ask "what kind of Job works 3 to 4 hours" where I would bet you meant to ask "what kind of person works food service." Very simple.......go to an arena and see the people working and those are the people who work for low wage. Why...because it is their job !!!!! Another post hijack down to the lowest level it can go putting everyone down for the purpose of justification.

He made a valid point that losing 250 part time minimum wage jobs that someone could never even support themselves let alone a family on, isn't the economic devastation this guy makes it out to be. Students, 16 year olds, or older people with multiple jobs will just go work another shift at Mcdonalds or Walmart. Besides, this is a bogus lie. The city won't let their 180 million + interest arena sit dormant. These people will keep their jobs working concerts and minor league sports. Even if they close the doors on the arena the restaurants and bars won't close. People need to eat, plus they are right beside the football stadium, for NFL and NCAA, which people actually go to see play....
