They just talked about the bonds...Shannon said they have a bond buyer, and the buyer is prepared to take the risk. Also said that if there is lawsuit, money would go back to the city, not the bond buyer...
Also said that there is only 1 schedule being prepared...
Sorry, I am just going by memory, someone please correct me if I am wrong...

Speculation alert: I don't believe it. Much more likely is that The NHL has a buyer for the bonds on the condition that GWI backs down. They've wasted so much time and energy trying to get them to back down, and these bonds are high risk even without the litigation. They're still desperately bluffing, acting like they're going to go ahead with things, hoping and praying that GWI looks at their litigation budget and says, wow, they're really doing it, let's look for an out so we can focus our resources on challenging Obamacare or whatever else... It's way past several deadlines by now... if COG, MH and the NHL could have done it, they would have finished this months ago.

The waiting right now trying to get GWI to back down, with no avail, and it won't happen, even though Hulsizer thinks he can get them too

And the rollercoaster goes down.Just end it,fight it out in court for a few years, meanwhile we can get going with Atlanta.Could you imagine, next year we have Atlanta and the yotes lose another $40 mil+,some of our money would be sent down to help out Hulzy from revenue sharing.IRONIC.

Sportsnet isnt overly reliable, I want to be reluctant to believe that theres no way they would find someone dumb enough to buy the bonds but if they can find someone dumb enough to buy the coyotes all bets are off.

Never! What the city is going to hold the bond money from the NHL! GWI sues and the COG takes the bond buyers money, ya right! The only way this could happen is if it was the NHL itself buying the bonds and retaining ownership.

This is old news anyways, we have known for a LONG time now that the NHL has reportedly found a buyer for the bonds, now the rest lies on GWI backing off

Anyone else notice the last 5-6 weekends it seems like terrible news/predictions get leaked on late Friday/Saturday, we get all uptight all weekend long, and then Monday rolls around and we figure out this was all a bluff and nothing actually happened. This bond thing is getting old fast. At least the season is finally almost over.

Hopefully that schedule includes Manitoba in place of Atlanta. I think this was mentioned in a ROTJ thread by someone claiming to have a source that there is actualy a schedule with Manitoba instead of Atlanta drawn up.
