We wait until the Coyotes either miss or get eliminated from the playoffs.
The only thing that does make sense now, is to maximize revenues. Pulling out of Phoenix now would draw 5000 fans and be even more pathetic than it is now...if that's possible.

There can't be too many options left for the desert dogs. Unless MH puts up all the cash to buy the team I can imagine only 3 other options left. 1) The bonds manage to sell --- lawsuit ensues----- injunction denied 2) The NHL pulls the mythical rabbit out of it's hat and the Yotes stay. **what that could possibly entail I have no clue 3) The NHL caves and agrees to fund the team for another year. All three of these seem to be Hail Mary long shots. How else does the desert experiment get saved? Even if either options number one or two happen, there's no getting around the third one. One way or another that team is going to lose money (and lots of it) where it is presently located. They've been there for fifteen years and haven't made dime on. This ship has sailed (you might even say it sunk in that market) some time ago. Bring 'em Back!!

Is there a possibility that, despite the NHL having the legal right to sell and relocate the team, the City of Glendale or the State of Arizona will take the NHL to court and get an injunction to prevent the team from leaving?

The NHL owns the team it's not Glendale's or Arizona's. Unless there is some other agreement related to them building the rink that we do not no about, I doubt it.

Isn't the lease contingent upon the owners of the franchise (i.e. now the NHL) staying in Arizona for its duration without haven't to pay a huge penalty? And I'm assuming, that will be covered by the new owners (i.e. TNSE). I'm not trying to play devil's advocate...I'm just trying to predict what might be the CoG or State of Arizona's last ditch effort to keeping the team.
