These would cost less than our old season tickets back at Wpg arena for early 90's Jets games. I paid close to $50+ to see Wings/Oilers in November at Joe Louis Arena and that was literally the last row in the Joe. (not that there is a bad seat in the arena).

Oh man... I should print this out and show it to anyone who claims that Winnipeg "can't afford" the NHL. Maybe people in AZ have money, but they sure as hell ain't spending it on the NHL. That is downright shameful. Tell us again how brilliant Bettman is, NHL!

I remember seeing one of these for the Devils, I think it sold $120 tickets for $88 and $85 tickets for $68 in the Lower Level, and it sold $59 tickets for $38 in the upper deck (The Jokes charge those lower level tickets except at center ice and the first few rows for $75 at face value, they charge the same upper deck seats for $36 and $23 at face value).

Can we say...try and pack the house for the final 9 home games of the Pheonix Coyotes?...before they are "ripped out" of Glendale

Thats what we pay here in Austin for our AHL team (lowest can be 10-12 with a promotion but thats not all the time)
This is sad - why are they clinging onto this dead dog? WHY?

Comment from AZ CENTRAL.
"Great game last night, 11,000 in attendance. Not great but better than expected."
what else can one add to that.

This reminds me of what businesses do when the are having a "Going Out Of Business Sale" There lease is up at the end of the month and they want to clear out as much inventory as possible and get anything they can.
I actually look at this as good news as this is only pointing to the end of the franchise in Phoenix.
You don't run a promotion like that unless it is sustainable which this clearly isn't.
What else could it mean?

On the plus side, thanks to ticket proceeds, the 'Play Peoria Scholarship Fund' is now sitting at $8.

Ok, so the NHL owns the Yotes correct? So this is the NHL's marketing campaign? Wow, this is worse than I imagined, and I cannot see the NHL growing any more in the US than it is now. I think it may have peaked, and with this marketing logic I think they are in a world of trouble the next few years!
This is better than being in Winnipeg?! Really?!

[ Daddy, yes Logan, why do the Coyotes not make any moneys? Son I'm not really sure, but I bet their is a Brain Dead Simple Answer staring us right in the face....[/quote] Ok, if you're going to try and insult someone it would be best to learn basic spelling in English. Ex.) There is a difference between their team and where they're going. I've seen these mistakes a number of times on this forum... often while insulting others for their grammar and spelling errors (namely, Matt Hulsizer).
