If they are coming I would love to see them tank. That extra higher draft pick would be nice. I guess though at the same time I'd love to see Turris/Boedker and the other young guns that are going to play here get some big game experience. Next year should be what matters though. Indifference is still prevailing for me. Turris is a bust and Boedker isnt much better to be honest. Ya right. You obviously haven't watched them much. Players take time to develope.

Thank you.
They are both 1989 birth dates. Hopefully we can see their progress here next year.
Hardly busts at this point and both were probably rushed to the NHL.

The other night I was watching the Coyotes play the Flames on TV and I found myself cheering for the Yotes. Part of the reason I think is because I am of the strong belief that the Flames are pure evil. I guess old habits die hard. The other and more important reason was a part of me is starting to take a much more serious interest in our returning/soon to be announced NHL hockey team. It got to the point where I was actually cheering for the Yotes as if they were already wearing the Winnipeg Jets jerseys. My question is how is everyone handling this situation. Are we cheering for the Yotes/Jets yet, or are we hoping they finish their last season in Glendale out of the playoffs? i got into a debate with someone last year on this site about that...he was cheering for the yotes to go far in the playoffs...i thought he was crazy suggesting the more successful the team was the more likely someone could be found to purchase the team and keep it in phoenix...someone inspired by the larger crowds and thinking the team's improved performance would make it an ideal time to buy low, etc. ...his response to me: don't worry the yotes will be returning to WPG 100% for the next season (that was the current season being played right now)... ...there is no way i could cheer for that team until it is announced that they are on their way to WPG...and even then i wouldn't want to see them win the stanley cup while they are not a WPG team...

the other thing i can't understand...ex-Jets fans from WPG who are still fans of the yotes from the time they moved simply because the team used to be the jets...the team became my most hated team when they left WPG...but that's just me...

The team, and the league, became dead to me in 1996. The only interest I've had in the NHL for the last 15 yrs is for the Coyotes to lose as many games as possible.

The last thing we need is a deep playoff run, the Glendaleans take notice and get on the bandwagon, buy the bonds and save the team. I want this team to fail in Arizona now right where it is. I want low attendance and failure to make the playoffs. After a promising few weeks it now appears, sadly, that the Yotes will get in but may their stay be short. The longer the run, the worse it will be for Winnipeg. We need them out.

I agree with everyone that wants Phoenix to miss the playoffs! Having them do just that makes everything easier for us all!
