Everyone seems to think that all there is left to do is wait. So I was just curious. How long do YOU think it's going to take?

Sorry - just realizing I probably also should have included "other" as an option

At the risk of getting throat punched, I think it's going to be a couple of weeks.

I think it depends on how long Hulsizer will remain.
If Hulsizer can't wait any longer - I say this thing is done by early next week.
I mean - if there ends up being no potential owner anymore, that gives NHL the incentive to move ahead with relocation.

I think this all rests on Hulsizer stickin around. How much more tinkering can you do to the deal? Money talks, Go Jets Go walks.

The deal will be dead by Friday when MH pulls out. Too much negative press for this deal. I think it will be announced next week Wed March 16th after MC is approved by the BOG at the BOG meeting.

HNIC radio now talking about Glendale now. They think the deal will be dead in 2 - 3 days. Singing the praises of Winnipeg now. Mentioned that Phoenix pulled $500K out of our economy during the pre-season games in Winnipeg. Great piece. Glenn Heally knows his stuff.

I have a feeling May 1. The NHL will wait as long as possible for the inevitable. They don't want word to leak out that the team will be moving to Winnipeg. Especially since they are in playoff contention, and unlike the Jets, nobody in Arizona will want to bother paying tickets to see the Coyotes in the playoffs.

Bump....
It's looking less and less likely that the announcement will be made this week. As far as I know, nothing has been set up for tomorrow in terms of a presser.....

What date do the playoffs start? I really doubt they would let it be announced during the post season.

I think two weeks at least, maybe more. It would be bad for business to announce it publicly that the Coyotes are moving when Phoenix is in the midst of a playoff push. Try to get some more cash out of Glendale's citizens but let TNSE know so they can make preparations.
