“No. I don’t think that is accurate,” Daly responded. “I wouldn’t limit Plan B options at this point to moving the club to Winnipeg.”
I have a hard time believing there is any other 'plan b'. I think it's a trained speech.
Thoughts?

I'm sure the NHL would like to propagate the myth that there are hundreds of technology billionaires, wealthy investment bankers and rich oil sheiks lined up and ready to pay cash for the privilege of owning the storied franchise called the Phoenix Coyotes. It's the old used-car dealer trick... "if you don't buy this beautiful 87 topaz right now I've got someone coming buy in a half hour with the money for it". In reality I don't know who else would possibly step up, other than Jim Balsillie

I think it's a trained speech. Thoughts? If Plan B only involved Winnipeg (which it does) then Daly would have to use the words "the team will move to Winnipeg" which would infuriate the CofG Clown Possee, given that the NHL said they would do everything in their power to keep the team in Glendale, thus giving the Possee ammunition to potentially launch or at least threaten to launch another mindless lawsuit saying the NHL was complicit in hampering their "bond deal of the decade" and efforts to keep the team in Gongdale.....

Let's not forget that the NHL still has vested interest in the Yotes for this year and even if the team is moving, the less money it loses this year the better. The longer they can make it seem like there are may options out there, the better for the Phoenix \ahem/ fans

I have heard there is in fact another push on a deal that would have MH pushing in more of his own chips, and Glendale attempting to issue fewer bond dollars... It sounds like patchwork on a deal that has already fallen apart in my opinion ...
Betman last night laid out the roadwork for either path, blaming goldwater if it comes to the move...

I thought Betman said the deal will not be re-worked and this thing lives and dies with the bond sale

I thought Betman said the deal will not be re-worked and this thing lives and dies with the bond sale correct, but Bettman is a bloody liar so who knows

Obviously he's going to say that. They can't make it obvious that they're ready and willing to move the team to Winnipeg, that's why this will be so drawn out.
