Cool that the Nords fans are making their voices heard around the league! But c'mon Jets fans, do something like this too! I wanna see a MUCH BIGGER version of the Nov 2010 Beer Snake Trip in St. Paul! Doesn't have to be exactly like that, but you get my drift! ;D

Cool that the Nords fans are making their voices heard around the league! But c'mon Jets fans, do something like this too! I wanna see a MUCH BIGGER version of the Nov 2010 Beer Snake Trip in St. Paul! Doesn't have to be exactly like that, but you get my drift! ;D As soon as TN gives us any indication that the fanbase should mobilize and/or vocalize then you might be right. But honestly, how would we ever out-do our 35,000 Save The Jets rally at the Forks?
Over $11 million given away free to any would-be owners that would buy the team to keep it in Winnipeg.
Those two were the impact statements of the 90's then and it still resonates today. Also, in the last few years, it is clear that our prospective private ownership wants to take the quiet road in its' quest. So for myNHLincludesWinnipeg.com we have directed our focus to education be it through websites or the mass media and not rallies. Hamilton has had a few rallies and it didn't get them too far without the right ownership/rink in place. Our good attendance and passionate support for the NHL is documented over the history of the Winnipeg Jets. Not to mention great support for the seasons of WHA, IHL and AHL. Our only blemish might be the WHL. History shows this is an NHL market. Full Stop. The last act for the fanbase is to buy 12,000 to 13,000 season tickets. And Manitoba remains poised to do so, while remaining respectfully patient. Chris
