Winnipeg was supposed to host the 1995 NHL entry draft, but it got taken away (and moved to Edmonton) when it was known that the franchise would be re-located. How can Winnipeg be compensated for this loss when an NHL team returns?

Now that I think about it a little more, I think it might be good if we got the All - Star game. That way players from every team would be able to come to the Peg and they would see what real fan support looks like. This would probably help Winnipeg's image with the players.

Heritage classic in our new Bowl type stadium would be really awesome, it would have to be in like mid march though to avoid amputation due to frostbite  |

It would be cool for anyone of those. A Stanley cup finals would be way better! it would be may/june...what a better time to showcase our city at that time.
