Arrogance lol ok maybe a few people on here get annoyed by the whole QC situation but it would be hard not to. Like seriously its hard for the rest of the country to cheer for QC after they pleaded for the feds to fork over 200 million and in return have QC Go Jets Go themselves out to the conservative party next election.

Winnipeg Sun We’re ready for Thrashers...But so is Quebec City www.winnipegsun.com/sports/columnists/ted_wyman/2011/02/16/17303426.html[...] We already know Daly and his boss Gary Bettman have suggested the league would like to put teams back in places like Winnipeg and Quebec.
It’s been well documented that Quebec City wants an NHL team back. So much so, they are willing to spend $400 million of public money to build an arena on speculation that a team might eventually move there.
If the Thrashers go up for sale, you can bet the potential Quebec City ownership group will be front and centre. The possibility of a bidding war could exist.
I’m just not sure how badly Mark Chipman and his partner David Thomson would want to get into something like that.
[...] LOL... that is among the funniest comments I have ever read. I bidding war?? Against who?? A mythical unicorn? Quebec has no official prospective owner. No plans for a building except what a few politicians said before an election, no money to build a building except for some broad promise that it will happen. There is only one .. ONE .. market in Canada is ready to house an NHL team. Quebec has a dream and I am completely supportive, but it is nothing more than a dream at this point. Talk is cheap. Winnipeg has the building built and owners in place. So Sun media can fabricate all they want there will be no bidding war. Perhaps 5 years down the road when Quebec has its ducks in a row, if they get to that point, another team like Florida or Nashville will be looking to relocate. Until then please enjoy watching from the sidelines. Go JETS!!!

Google translate this : June 2010 : bit.ly/9xdWlW = Prospective owner meetings with the NHL September 2010 : bit.ly/gac9ua = Confirmation the team can play in the Colisée, all NHL need is a confirmation of a new arena Last week : bit.ly/dOyKrp = Confirmation of the building So by now anything can happen in Quebec

How would you like it if Quebec was 1st in line for a team and someone from Winnipeg was telling you that it was not going to happen. You will get your team AFTER WINNIPEG.
