Wow just saw some footage from the second period when all the fans that are going to show up have already and that place is 1/4 full at best, I was looking on a thrashers message board and apparently free tickets were being handed out in large numbers at colleges all over Georgia

Nice...Thrashers lost. Now we're 18 points behind them with 3 games in hand and 30 games left. It's a pie in the sky now but hopefully we can pull this off. Plus it would be nice having the Thrashers miss the playoffs so an announcement of their relocation could come sooner.  |

They announced just over 12,000 my A$$ if you double how many were actually there...then maybe. There was 6000 tops and they moved people down, there was more people in the lower bowl in the 2nd and 3rd period!

Didnt an article posted recentl announce they have less than 7000 season ticket holders? With that in mind theres no way they had that many people to a game. If is the Thrashers that move here I can see the announcment coming either shortly before the playoffs or some time after. However I still think the Coyotes deal will crumble and we'll get to scoop them up.

It was an interview with the President of ATL Thrashers, and yes, he said they have "less than 7k STH"

Since the Thrashers president (Don Waddell?) is willing to say publicly how few season ticket holders they have, then he's pretty much throwing in the towel. He's justifying their pending re-location.
