Here is a list of Canadian NHL teams, and prices of season tickets. It will give you an idea of what to pay for tickets at the MTS Centre: Edmonton Oilers: Ottawa Senators:

Most other teams did not have a season ticket image I could paste, as Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and Calgary are sold out.

Marketing this this to Winnipeggers will be key. We are talking about a whole new price point here. I have no doubt in my mind that TNSE will make this successful. I think our season tickets will be marketed in a similar way to Ottawa, with mini-packs playing the key roll.

how much are mini packs? id assume a 11 game mini pack for an average seat in wpg would be around 1000 bucks. so average about 95 bucks a ticket. and you always " save" money on walk up prices with mini packs, id definately get one of those

I am in a group that will buy two season tickets and we will have a draft to distribute the tickets, obviously game 1 will be the biggest ticket that we will be fighting for.
I don't have time for 41 games

It chaps my Go Jets Go that Americans can get decent STs for < $1000 while Canadians have to pay top dollar and then some. Even the premium seats are WAY cheaper in the US. Here's a typical example: FLORIDA Incidentally, anyone have any idea what the official prices are for Leafs season tickets? I'd love to see what those suckers fans are getting hosed for.

I recall once posting on a thread about the 2 different ticket types the Oilers offered, copper and gold with copper giving slightly cheaper tickets for games against less hyped opponents (Phx, Atl, Florida etc) and Gold tickets were slightly more expensive for games against teams that would draw more fans (Pittsburgh, Washington, Calgary) This would be a good marketing idea I mean everyone wants to see Crosby and Ovechkin grace the ice of the MTSC but when you have lame teams that dont have much excitment selling tickets a bit cheaper will entice fans to go to those games.

If Winnipeg were to get an NHL team, I would imagine the NHL would want 12,500 season tickets sold at the bare minimum. Possible 13,000. That leaves roughly 2,000 tickets for mini packs, walk-up crowds etc.

^^^A team in Winnipeg would probably have to sell at least 11,000 Season Tickets, I don't think 12,000 would be the minimum. The limit for Season Ticket holders is 90% of your arena's capacity I think, so for a Winnipeg team it would be in the neighborhood of 13,500. To add to the list of Canadian teams and ticket prices, here's the prices for Calgary. flames.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=40762Wow, Florida's tickets are so cheap it's not even funny. They also INCLUDE parking in the price of their tickets, so it's even more of an undervalueing. Devils tickets aren't too cheap though. devils.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=41796

Could be wrong but I think you just need to average 14, 000 per game
