Im not sure if theres an exact parking lot they are taking about. My season ticket holder parking, is across the street at the football stadium, so it cant be that. Maybe they are talking about the NW side of the building, where i parked when i first moved here, before i had a full season. If you look at Westgate on google maps, its a huge complex with parking all around it, between the movie theater, football stadium and hockey rink. Can anyone tell me which of the lots they are speaking of? They must be talking about more then one parking lot then? If they are only talking about one lot then people will just go to the many other parking lots around the area for free. Exactly what im saying. If im in a car without Coyotes stickers all over it, and im not wearing a jersey, how do you know im not in Westgate to go to a movie, or out to dinner? Should i have to pay to park if i live in Glendale and i think hockey sucks and just want to watch Aston Kutcher in a movie? (or some garbage a non hockey fan would say...)

That is one sad looking empty arena. Very pathetic if you ask me... I am pretty sure I could actually count all the fans at the game in about 10 minutes by looking at that picture. That has to be a depressing place to spend three hours.

Also no fat dude bumping your seat. That should be their new marketing campaign: Come to Jobing.com arena - where no fat dudes will bump your seat! (except on poutine night)

^^ ooooo sweet jebus...really? thats sad... announced attendence? announced was just a bit over 10,000. Id say it was closer to 7500 honestly. just watched the highlights, aside from the goal horn more sound was made when the oilers scored than when the coyotes scored!

Every time I watch a game on TV from jobing.com arena, the goal horn sounds so unbelievably ridiculously loud! I think even if there was 15,000 fans at the game, it would still drown it out!

Do they let people move down to the seats in the camera sightline or something? Because that's how it comes across on tv, and yeah those pics are just sickening. They are doing nothing but prolonging the inevitable.

AllyK, just curious but how many Oiler fans would you estimate were there, in both a percentage and a number? I can only imagine what this would look like if they were playing a team like Minnesota or Nashville...

It's such a shame, they have such a beautiful rink but they don't get their use out of it.

They are doing nothing but prolonging the inevitable. Actually they don't even usually release for sale, the majority of the tickets above the camera's sightlines in the lower bowl. I regularly follow the available seats at ticketmaster for their home games and it's always the same.

And the Nashville pictures are hard to look at...that was just a few weeks ago

The Wild actually draw pretty well out here, so id expect about the same attendance wise. Nashville is significantly less....

Allyk00, you must feel pretty conflicted about this whole mess, but thanks for putting in the time and energy with your pics. It really adds some perspective to this situation that a lot of us weren't aware of. If you lose the Yotes, what will fill your hockey void?
