I have to admit, even as an American, we did not deserve to win that game against Finland. That OT goal was a fluke that the Finnish goalie shoulda had.

For the USA vs Finland game good thing it is close to the border and the Canada fans have tickets or else there would have been a yotes 2000 people crowd

I don't doubt that Buffalo is a hockey market but I heard that over 60% of all tickets to all games had been bought by Canadians. And in the games Canada is playing in over 90% have been bought by Canadians. We run this tournament.

I'd say it's true that Buffalo is a market strongly influenced by Canadian flocking south, but there are a lot of legitimate hockey markets south of the Border as well (mostly the ones close to the Canadian border... )

I have to say this time of year my Canadian pride goes through the roof. We have a really strong team, and I personally took offense to the comments made that there is no "shining star" this year. WTF, look at these guys... they are amazing! Ellis rules, and my god Schenn is hot!!! (Hot as GOOD PLAYER not Hot as in Good looking)

Wow.... Canada just kicked Norway's Go Jets Go 10-1.
Then again, I can only name one Norwegian hockey player: Patrick Thoresen, though i have no idea where he is. When WBS had a one year affiliation with Edmonton (in addition to Pittsburgh), he played down here for a bit before they sent him to ECHL Stockton.
