Good question, I'm not sure if MC would hang on to them or sell. It would seem logical that playing out of the MTSC is out of the question, and my only reasoning behind that is TNSE wouldnt want to have 80 + dates locked in with hockey....other events such as concerts ect would be financially more appealling. I don't know this for fact though MTL Forum, Maple Leaf Gardens, and the Joe Louis Arena once shared with major junior teams...~ I see your point and agree but much bigger markets to draw from and tons of money to be made in concerts ect today unlike the in past.

Good thing we dont have to use are real names , otherwise the hate mail from Quebec City already would have arrived LOL! But it is true, QC really havent imbrace anything since the Nords left...and the money thing is a whole political bombshell when it comes to Quebec....overall it seems in Manitoba that we are easier to please.

Wouldn't it be ironic if the Thrashers moved to Winnipeg and the Winnipeg NHL team's affiliate was... the Chicago Wolves?
I think the fate of the Moose depends on which team is acquired. Some NHL teams (Phoenix as an example) own or partially own their current AHL team so True North would then own two AHL teams and would likely have to sell one of them.

(they beat us in the Calder Cup Finals 4-2, but we ran out of gas after the epic conference final we had against Portland)

QC is kinda off funny that way, they don't need voids to fill...it's like all or nothing for them. Perhaps Winnipeg and QC are just to different breed of hockey fans. See I didnt mind the Moose coming in, did it replace NHL hockey??..no way in hell but i wanted to watch hockey and as it turned out if it wasnt for MC buying the Moose and working hard with that brand we might not even have an MTSC....but QC will just get a gazillion dollars from the province and feds and build a hugh rink and get an NHL team in there...lol the province maybe but not the feds unless the feds are willing to give to all projects across Canada. A loan from the feds seems more likely. I think Manitoba ( being a have not province) already has its share from gov't. ie Airport, centreport, Human Rights Museum, New Stadium (not sure if the fed kicked anything in) But MB taxpayers sure did!. Never! Moose to Phoenix, forget about it! Move them to Saskatoon! I'm sure the Moose would be really successful there! Keep more Hockey In Canada, we all know Hockey does not work there, please don't send the poor moose to Gongdale, please

all I gotta say I would like to see our Jets farm team come play 10-20 regular season season games at the MTS Centre. I't would be nice to see what is coming down the pipeline, afterall prospects are the most important piece of making a successful franchise.

If Coyotes move here they aquire San Antonio as their farm team. Ateam that draws well I think Vancouver would relocate the Moose to Victoria then!!!
