Would Chipman keep the Moose and break his affiliation with Vancouver Canucks so they could become our farm team? Where are would the Moose be going? Any insight anyone?

I heard that if an NHL team comes back to Winnipeg that the Moose might move to Thunder Bay, Ontario. I also heard that Ice Edge is trying to put an ECHL team there.

Good question, I'm not sure if MC would hang on to them or sell. It would seem logical that playing out of the MTSC is out of the question, and my only reasoning behind that is TNSE wouldnt want to have 80 + dates locked in with hockey....other events such as concerts ect would be financially more appealling.
I don't know this for fact though

To me there are several possibilities, first trading teams with Glendale could be one. Solves there tenant issue and if Chipman made the Moose his affiliation might keep the few die hard Coyotes fans interested. Thunder Bay , Fargo, Saskatoon, Seattle all could be good guesses as well as to where the Moose might take up new roots. Does Quebec city even have an Ahl team? Are they even playing any professional hockey in Quebec City?

If the Coyotes come back to Winnipeg the Moose will probably either move to A) Thunder Bay B) Saskatchewan C) Phoenix/Glendale

Hmm...Rose Garden in Portland? They draw a lot for the Winterhawks, but if not, maybe try to bring hockey back to St. John's, or Erie, PA, or Sask/Regina...
And QC USED to have an AHL team - the Citadelles lasted only 4 seasons (1998-2002) as a Canadiens affiliate... what were they smoking?!~

Quebec had an ahl team for a few years, the citadels. I think they merged with the Hamilton bulldogs a few years back.

I mean it would take at least 2 years to build an arena. Give us the Coyotes and Quebec inherits the Moose to prep for the big show. Or do they just get to skip the steps that we did.

How about they make a trade with Phoenix/Glendale? Then they could be called the Coyotes and no one there would be able to tell the difference!!

I don't know this for fact though MTL Forum, Maple Leaf Gardens, and the Joe Louis Arena once shared with major junior teams...~

QC is kinda off funny that way, they don't need voids to fill...it's like all or nothing for them. Perhaps Winnipeg and QC are just to different breed of hockey fans. See I didnt mind the Moose coming in, did it replace NHL hockey??..no way in hell but i wanted to watch hockey and as it turned out if it wasnt for MC buying the Moose and working hard with that brand we might not even have an MTSC....but QC will just get a gazillion dollars from the province and feds and build a hugh rink and get an NHL team in there...lol

A loan from the feds seems more likely.

Have them going East, for travel reasons it would seem more appealing to put a team out there.
