Just wondering if anyone prefers when the home team used to wear their white jerseys at home or if the current dark jerseys are preferred. Another option would be what the WHA did in their last few seasons in which one half of the season the home team wore their white jerseys and the other half they wore their dark jerseys.

I picked both because I liked our home whites, but I also enjoyed seeing our coloured jerseys too. Half and half seems like a good compromise.

I think the Winnipeg "White Out" was and is supposed to be for the home team.

The whiteout thing kinda makes it ideal to wear white as home but I prefer dark jerseys at home. Simply because the primary colour on the dark jersey is more unique to the team, every teams white jersey is white but the dark jersey has a different colour which relates to the team.

Didn't they used to switch half ways? Blue first Half, White second? White @ home has always been the way when I played community club hockey.

White at home so then everygame isn't (insert home teams dark colour) Vs. White. Though If I'm buying a jersey, I like that I'm wearing what the team wears, and dark jersey purchases out weigh white many times over.

NHL never should've gone football style with the jerseys. White for home is and always will be better in my mind. Watching Detroit/NYR right now with Detroit wearing white at home and it just makes so much sense!
At the very LEAST, PLEASE let the boys wear white at home during the playoffs here in Winnipeg. An NHL playoff game here without a white-out just wouldn't be right... What will we do otherwise? Wear yellow and wave black poms? "WELCOME TO THE BEE HIVE!!!" ....................................................................so wrong...................

White at home is stupid. So basically, you get the home team against white all the time. When the home team was wearing white, you got to see the whole variety of different colours/uniforms of the entire league.
