Never really could get into the NFL. I could also never understand how so many people here get so passionate for teams that play in cities that in many cases they have never even visited, let alone have a connection to.
The Vikings fans I can understand because they are at least the "regional" team, but I don't understand these dudes who are massive, say, Tennessee or Baltimore fans. WTH?

I'm a huge Cincinnati Bengals fan, have visited Cinci, seen a Bengals game, and actually had the chance to meet some players and play football at Paul Brown Stadium. I've been a huge fan since 1980. Of course there is a story. I was watching my first NFL game and saw this player named Chris Collinsworth playing injured. I figured (at that age) that if he loved his team so much to play injured, I can be a fan. I haven't looked back since that fateful game.

been ajets fan since i can remember . im almost 40 so probably 1975 or so. every year for my birthday dad would bring me to shea( we lived in ny ) for a jets game . shea was a dump and the jets sucked. they were perfect for each other. when they moved to jersey my dad cancelled his season tix. anyway i dont really follow them anymore.

Seahawks. My team since Madden 95 for Sega Genesis. That's how I got into NFL football. That's how I got into it as well! Only difference for me it was Sega Dreamcast and NFL2K. I had. no clue about the teams and randomly picked the Colts.....rest is history lol
