DVDs reviewing each season of Jets past seasons in regular and post season. Each DVD package 2 dvds would have one dvd that would review most regular season games and milestones and the other dvd would review playoff action and etc. (all via radio and tv)

Along these lines, wouldn't it be great if somebody somewhere scoured the archives to produce a DVD set chronicling the complete history of the Winnipeg Jets? I know that there is one that covers the WHA years, although I don't know how extensive it is. But even so, one that covers the NHL years would be very welcome and I'm sure would be a strong seller in Winnipeg.

I often wonder who would really make money on a project like this.I think the NHL and NHLPA would take all revenue would they not?
And I also wonder how much game footage Global (CKND) and CKY still have, since it was common to reuse the tapes back in the 70's and 80's.

Yeah, probably not much good quality footage, if any, remains.

I approve. Didn't the old Vancouver Grizzlies of the NBA do this?

Certainly a DVD of the history of the franchise - I'm talking 3 DVD set with very well made and in depth documentary.
Becomes even more intriguing if it's the Coyotes that return to Winnipeg. What a story. I'd love to have one three hour (or more) documentary on the history of the franchise, WHA to NHL to Phoenix, Moose era, MTSC and finally the return.

The history of the franchise ( should it move back to WPG ) is enough for a Hollywood Movie script!

I would be all over that. Another option would be to buy dvd's of single games from our history. I know there are a handfull of games that I would absolutely love to have in my collection!
