dont take this to personal winnipeg you may have to look at it as a positive. The nhl will be following their word to move teams to the cities mentioned

oh my god! thats crazy IF its true. according to darren this was the team true north had been trying to get. so this might mean that phoenix to wpg is closer to a for sure thing cause you would think wpg had dibs on alt but let it go to get the coyotes.... i hope

And look at all the news about Hamilton lately. Something is stirring in the NHL, and it's looking like certain Canadian cities are becoming targets for relocation, but now Winnipeg seems to be non-existant when compared to Quebec City and Hamilton at this point. Because if Quebec is truly getting the Thrashers, as Winnipeg was supposed to, and Hamilton is getting another Canadian Millionaire to help lure a team to Hamilton (more appealing than Winnipeg in the opinion of many) and Phoenix is staying put, Winnipeg is so Go Jets Go royally, for a very long time.

IMO there is little chance of hamilton getting a team any time in the near future. the sabers wouldnt want them there and the leafs already had a law suit ready if ballislle would have won. also, remember how many rumours were flying around with wpg a couple of months ago? a lot also said alt/pho to wpg is a "done deal". this QC rumour is probably the same deal. is toutsurle hockey the french version of hockeey buzz... probably

If this is the case the nhl may very much be involved keeping things right. Making an east team stay in the east and a west team stay in the west. this is probably crap but we will see not a bad thing guys dont worry peg will get a team one team had to go to qc too. HAMILTON WILL NOT GET A TEAM for a long long time until peg and qc get one first then maybe hamilton

I know many will say I'm jumping the gun and maybe I am (hopefully), but this worries me, very much, and has put a damper on my Canada Day celebrations

this means GB is following his word of QC and Winnipeg Getting teams Bettemen has proven himself time and time again not to be trustworthy towards small market Canadian teams, especially Winnipeg. I have never trusted him, and I still don't, in terms of granting Winnipeg a team, until it become official. Until then, he is still a slimy little pro-sunbelt maggot.

what if winnipeg and qc are both getting a team next season? nah. would they let a team play at the colisee for a few years while a rink was built?

The team would probably play in atlanta while they lobby for an arena. Once they succeed they play in the colisee until the new arena is built

Why in God's good name would the NHL give a team to Quebec, without an arena, before Winnipeg? What would the benefits of having a team in Quebec (without an approved arena mind you) be before having a team in Winnipeg?
