I'm a big logo buff, and I've noticed there's quite a few unofficial Winnipeg Jets logos out there on the internet. I thought this would be a cool place to put them, and talk about our opinions about them. This is one I found recently - really cool incorporation of the Provencher Bridge: Another one that's all over the place:

Not sure about that first one....I like the colors, but the logo looks a little "busy"
# 2 is safe and I would be happy with it.
I would like to see more if there are any???

My vote would be for number two. Simple and sharp. I agree the first logo is a bit busy but the color scheme is pretty sharp.

Does this logo remind anyone else of 9/11?

Best logo would be the old 1973 logo (the one used right up until 1990), but MINUS the word "Winnipeg" for a much cleaner, sleeker appearance. That logo is awesome, but the city name is clearly an afterthought that was wedged in there and ruined the whole look with the whole weird "Jets Winnipeg" thing.
Doing something like that would give you something traditional yet new.

The Hawerchuk era Jets logo was the best of them all. I really liked that the logo was slightly different based on the color of the jersey they wore. The Provencher Bridge logo is cool, but the jersey colors look off. That Steen jersey and logo is horrible, what's with the curved stripes? And the Falcons jersey needs to be yellow and black. espn.go.com/media/pg2/2004/1230/photo/g_iginla.jpg

Those Falcon jersey's remind me of the capitals jersey they were using for a bit:

a general comment.....i really hate those Reebok jerseys. a lot of teams barely have any striping and i hate the pipeing used on many teams jerseys. i hope we go the "old school" route and don't have only vertical striping. the best jerseys now are the original 6 teams and any team that stayed away from the nonsense like New Jersey and San Jose. the best logos here are darren's and the Falcons but yes, it is reminiscent of the Capitals old jerseys.

That Provencher Bridge does look kind of 9/11-ish, but I still like it.
